Jetblue from Wednesday onwards has started offering a new special promotional flights which cost only $4 non stop between Long Beach Airport and Bob Hope airport in Burbank.
This is due to the shutdown of the 405 freeway for the two day construction activity. The one way ticket of $4 suprisingly even includes the taxes and fees and just for a dollar more you can even enjoy a few more perks like extra leg room and early boarding privileges.
JetBlue said this special to be “Carmageddon” and this promotion is promoted with the slogan “405 Freeway Closure? We’re So Over It!”
JetBlue also offer 40 % Discount on the JetBle vacations to Las Vegas from Long Beach and Burbank. Jetblue had two one way flights between Long Beach and Burbank. Passengers had 4-6 Hours on ground before returning back.
This Promotion was not meant to introduce Flights between Burbank and Long Beach but rather to help the passengers affected due to this problem.
